About Digital Audio Wear
So you want to listen to your iPodŽ or other digital audio device while you enjoy your active lifestyle, yet you don't want to be bothered with holding the device in your hand or dealing with the swinging earphone cord.
You need Digital Audio Wear! >>
Digital Audio Wear is a collection of clothing that has been modified to allow the wearer complete freedom of movement as he or she listens to an iPodŽ or other digital audio device. The user's audio device is contained in a pocket, and the earphone cord attached to the digital audio device is then fed through a cord containment system on the clothing made up of a series of small loops. With the iPodŽ contained and the cord out of the way, a person is able to safely perform any activity he or she wishes without the inconvenience of being forced to hold the device in ones hand and the annoyance and potential safety hazard of dealing with the dangling earphone cord flailing about.
The two primary innovations of Digital Audio Wear are a pocket that securely holds the user's iPodŽ or other digital audio device on a low-impact part of the body and a system to contain the attached earphone cord. The pocket is usually located on the garment worn on the lower part of the body. It may be construct- ed of the same material as the garment itself and be sized to accommodate a specific device, or it may be constructed of an expandable fabric to accommodate devices of different sizes. Depending upon the article of Digital Audio Wear clothing, the pocket may be affixed to the outside of the garment, or it may be located within an existing pocket in the garment. To ensure the device stays in place, the pocket top is secured with Velcro.
